How to check the capacity of air conditioner?

In previous post, we discuss the energy saving of electric appliances. How to check the loading unit of the air conditioner? The answer can be found on the NAMEPLATE mounted on the air conditioner. 
Look at the picture shown. You can get the useful data on nameplate.
Do you note the RED circle? We calls it Current (amperes) and Voltage (Volt).
Use this formula,
Power = Current X Voltage
Power = 40 x 120
= 4800 Watt.
This is simple calculation done in couple second. Once you master it, you can start to compare the air conditioning you wish to buy.
It’s good thing to use the energy saving appliances that will bring lower power consumption and protect our Earth.
